Our competition horses for 2024

Poppy is by a horse called Roscommon Anzac out of one of our beautiful foundation mares, Stockhaven Rhythm HSH.

Poppy has won numerous cut-outs and has had 2 filly foals for us - Stockhaven Finance and Stockhaven Tribute, both by Kirkby's Stud Credit.

Mystic is by Boonara Mentor out of another old favourite, Stockhaven Harmony. Mystic is a very talented mare, and much loved family and mustering horse.

She has won led classes, then sustained an injury, so she had a foal by Doongara Manpower by us who in now in the work horse team - Stockhaven Stormy HSH.

Diamond is one that can be ridden by the whole family. She is by Ropeley Park Brigalow out of Stockhaven Rhythm. She has won numerous Futurity events, as well as placing 2nd in the open Campdraft at the ASH National Campdraft at Goondiwindi in 2022.

Diamond has an embryo foal due this year by Millungera's Moonbeam.

Stockhaven Ebony is by Glencoe Last Word out of a very successful mare home bred mare in Stockhaven Ballerina. Ebony has won everything from Utility classes through to Working classes.

Here she is seen winning the Most Successful ASH at the Preston Show 2024 with her one and only jockey, Peter.

Ebony has ventured south for a while to compete under the guidance of Beth Newton.

Jackman is by Bluff Downs Jake out of a favourite broodmare in Mintona Sapphire. 

He is our resident stud sire and recently won the Novice Campdraft at Kumbia.

Rockstar or as we have always referred to him as, 'Boofy', is semi-retired these days, but comes out on special occasions. Boofy is by Lu Diamond Phillips out of Stockhaven Harmony.  He is a very special horse and can go from quiet old kids pony to running an 88 in a Restricted Open Campdraft. He won the Gelding Campdraft in 2023 at the ASH Campdraft Championships and has won numerous other campdrafts and cut out run offs.
